Job Circular: Senior Accountant (QuickBooks Online & Bangladesh Tax/VAT)
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Banani. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in cloud accounting software along with sound knowledge of Bangladeshi Tax and VAT regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Handle payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with Bangladeshi Tax, VAT, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with tax filings
- Support financial analysis and reporting for management
Qualifications:
- Minimum Graduation in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ACCA partly qualified preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of Bangladeshi Tax and VAT laws
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software (QuickBooks Online)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of MS Office, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
