Archiconnect is Bangladesh’s first comprehensive e-commerce platform dedicated to the construction and building materials industry. We are bridging the gap between top building material brands, architects, engineers, and end-users. We are on a mission to digitize the construction supply chain in Bangladesh.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales & Marketing Intern who understands the technical aspects of building materials. Since we deal with specialized products (tiles, brick, sanitary, electrical, hardware, construction materials), an engineering background is highly preferred to effectively communicate product values to B2B clients (contractors, architects) and B2C customers.
This role offers hands-on experience in B2B sales, digital marketing, and supply chain operations within a fast-growing tech startup.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development Support:
- Assist the BDM team in identifying and reaching out to potential suppliers (brands) and corporate clients.
- Help maintain relationships with existing dealers, contractors, and architects.
- Support in onboarding new brands by gathering technical product data (specs, dimensions, materials).
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into orders.
2. Marketing & Content Strategy:
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and the website.
- Translate complex technical product specifications into easy-to-understand selling points for customers.
- Conduct market research to identify competitor pricing, trending products, and customer demands.
- Help execute digital marketing campaigns (boosting posts, SEO basics).
3. Operations & Coordination:
- Coordinate between the warehouse, logistics team, and clients to ensure smooth order delivery.
- Assist in managing product listings on the Archiconnect platform (updating stock, prices, and images).
Requirements (Educational & Skills)
- Educational Background: Recently completed a B.Sc in Civil Engineering or Architecture. Students from Business, Marketing, or related backgrounds are also able to apply. (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using internet platforms and social media.
- Industry Interest: A genuine interest in the construction, real estate, or interior design sector.
- Soft Skills: Proactive, eager to learn, good negotiation skills, and a team player.
