Role Overview:
We are looking for a backend developer to build and maintain scalable APIs, business logic, and system architecture for our platform.
Core Skills (Must Have):
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with backend frameworks (NestJS, Express, or Fastify)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL & Drizzle (design, queries, optimization)
- Experience with authentication & authorization (JWT, sessions, RBAC)
- Understanding of scalable system design basics
Technical Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services
- Design clean and scalable database schemas
- Implement business logic (payments, chat, community, etc.)
- Optimize performance and fix bottlenecks
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Collaborate with the frontend and DevOps teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Redis / caching strategies
- Experience with message queues (BullMQ, Kafka, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker & CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with payment integrations (Stripe, etc.)
- Able to implement AI features
