Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior WordPress Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in testing WordPress plugins, themes, and web applications. This role goes beyond day to day testing role. You will take ownership of product quality across our WordPress ecosystem and help define testing strategies, strengthen automation practices, establish scalable QA standards across the organization, and ensuring every release is production-ready before it reaches users.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end QA for WordPress plugins (Divi, Gutenberg, WooCommerce).
- Execute functional, regression, usability, performance, compatibility, and security testing.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and backward compatibility testing.
- Debug using DevTools, WP debug logs, and technical analysis (PHP, JS, HTML, CSS).
- Create clear bug reports and collaborate with developers.
- Build QA processes, documentation, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of QA experience, preferably testing WordPress plugins or themes.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress core, plugin ecosystem, and compatibility testing.
- Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Ability to debug PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS issues.
- Experience with WP_DEBUG, browser DevTools, and QA reporting.
- Proficiency with Git and project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, or similar).
- Strong English communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience testing Divi, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, or major page builders.
- API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like Lighthouse or GTmetrix.
- Exposure to security validation practices.
- Experience with PHPUnit, PEST PHP, or WP-CLI.
- Experience with SaaS product testing or cross-device platforms like BrowserStack.
Requirements:

- Basic understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for debugging.
- Familiarity with the WordPress ecosystem, plugins, and compatibility testing.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience testing Gutenberg, Divi, or WooCommerce products.
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and QA best practices.
- Experience working in product-based or SaaS environments.

Additional Information
Location: Nikunja-2, Dhaka (On-site)
Salary: BDT 40,000 – 60,000 (based on experience)
Work Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekends: Friday & Saturday (2 Days)
