Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in data analytics (and possibly in security operations). In this role, you will develop robust applications that enhance cryptographic risk management and support the transition to quantum-safe security. Your expertise in React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Linux will be crucial in building tools that help organizations inventory, assess, and future-proof their cryptographic infrastructures.

Core Tech Stack, we’re looking for-

• React.js- for building scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Node.js- Build and maintain backend apps with real-time features, third-party API integration, clean error-handled code, and high performance web applications.
• PostgreSQL- for large-scale, efficient data management
• Elasticsearch- for real-time data search and analytics
• Docker- for seamless containerization, deployment and managing microservices architectures.
• RESTful APIs- for robust backend integrations
• MUST: Familiarity with cryptographic principles, encryption, and quantum-safe methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design and implement data-driven applications focused on cryptographic inventory, risk assessment, and quantum-safe security analytics.
• Front-End Development: Utilize React.js to create intuitive and dynamic dashboards that visualize complex security data and cryptographic metrics.
• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain Node.js server-side applications with asynchronous, event-driven, and real-time capabilities (e.g., using Socket.IO/WebSockets). Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, OAuth), write clean, testable code with robust error handling, and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Database Management: Architect efficient storage and retrieval systems using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Search and Analytics: Integrate and optimize the Elasticsearch for real-time data analysis and visualization.
• Containerization: Develop and deploy applications using Docker to ensure consistency across various environments.
• System Administration: Leverage Linux expertise to manage server environments, ensuring high availability and security.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Enhance and maintain robust data pipelines and API integrations to ensure high-performance system operations.
• Secure Coding Practices: Implement industry best practices in secure coding, data integrity, and access controls throughout the development lifecycle.
• Problem Solving: Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in the evolving landscape of digital security.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on data analytics and security operations.
• Proven expertise in React.js for building scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js, with experience in API development, data handling, error management, unit testing (Jest, Mocha), and implementing security practices (JWT, OAuth).
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL for managing and querying large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with the Elasticsearch for real-time data analysis.
• Proficiency in Docker for containerizing applications and managing microservices architectures.
• Strong experience with Linux operating systems, including system administration and shell scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing security challenges.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of backend services within distributed systems.
• Experience working in dynamic, agile teams with a focus on secure software practices.

Preferred Skills

• Cryptography & Security: Familiarity with cryptographic principles, encryption, and quantum-safe methodologies.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Experience with SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, or cryptographic risk management systems.
• Exposure to machine learning techniques for anomaly detection in security data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Demonstrated experience solving problems with time and space complexity in mind. Familiarity with system design, API integration, and database optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) or DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and team-based software development processes.
